After this mornings session the wind soon dropped off, so I didn't miss too much whilst at work.... Come 5.30pm though, it suddenly went from 12 knots to 20 knots, and after a phone call from Darren to say he was going out windsurfing I headed over to the beach.

I started off with my 6.3m again and was maxed out on it. Darren and Richard were also on 6.3's, and I said to richard that a 5.7m would have been fine. One more run and my 6.3m exploded as a panel just blew out of it, so that was that, time to rig the 5.7 anyway. Richard changed down at the same time as well as he was just too overpowered on the 6.3m.

Once on the 5.7m I was still well powered up and had an absolutely gorgeous session of flat out blasting in amongst some big swells with Darren and Richard. A few nice jumps, but speed over fairly rough seas was the order of the day. Shame about my 6.3m, I don't have many sails left now!
